Enrollment Deadline: 15 February 2026

Participants will cut and test samples using ASTM D1894, then report data for static friction, kinetic friction, or both. Testing is conducted using a 200 g sled with a sled/plane speed of 150 mm/minute, and friction measurements are taken with the specimen sliding on itself in the machine direction.

Sample Description: Two sets of seven sheets of slightly different polyethylene film.

Samples ship in April, July, and October for a total of three shipments.

This test is included on CTS' Scope of Accreditation to ISO/IEC 17043.
