Enrollment Deadline: 15 May 2026

Participants will report on any or all of the following properties: tensile stress at yield, tensile stress at break, percent elongation at yield, and modulus of elasticity. ASTM D638 is referenced.

Sample Description: Two sets of seven injection-molded Type 1 tensile bars. CTS chooses different polymers for each cycle of testing.

Samples ship in July and October for a total of two shipments.

Additional Information: Many of the materials used will break before reaching 100% elongation, but CTS cannot guarantee that all materials will rupture at a specified elongation.

This test is included on CTS' Scope of Accreditation to ISO/IEC 17043.
