Enrollment Deadline: 10 March 2025

Participants will die out standard dumbbells (no rings) and report on any or all of the following properties: tensile strength, ultimate elongation, stress at 100% and 300% elongation, Type A hardness, and density. Testing is conducted in accordance with ASTM D412 for tensile properties, ASTM D2240 for hardness, and ASTM D297 for density.

Sample Description: Two formulations of vulcanized rubber, supplied in the shape of two 6" by 6" plaques for each formulation.

Samples ship in May, August, and November for a total of three shipments.

This test is included on CTS' Scope of Accreditation to ISO/IEC 17043.
