This test is only available for digital download.

This test is focused on the needs of professionals who may not have access to laboratory equipment or data analysis software. This test is intended for individuals who are not actively involved in DNA analysis (i.e. extraction, amplification, etc.). Participants will receive the STR and YSTR DNA electropherograms for two known items and two questioned items. The electropherograms are provided as a digital download in .pdf and .hid formats. A variety of amplification platforms are included: GlobalFiler™, PowerPlex® Fusion 5C, PowerPlex® Fusion 6C, Investigator® 24plex, YFiler™ Plus and PowerPlex® Y23. Participants are requested to evaluate and report the DNA profiles of all four items.

All digital download test materials, including samples and response form, are only available on www.cts-portal.com. The information necessary to access the test materials will be provided via e-mail to the primary contact on file on the day of the test release.

This test is included on CTS' Scope of Accreditation to ISO/IEC 17043.

Test materials are made available in October.
