Enrollment Deadline: 1 November 2026
Participants will analyze the contents of four separate case samples, collect qualitative and quantitative data, and report their results.
Sample Description: Four case samples, each containing two vials of 10 mL of whole human blood or animal blood and unknown concentrations of various drugs or metabolites, including the possibility of a negative sample. Analyte levels are in case-like ranges for medicolegal death investigations, impaired driving investigations, drug-facilitated crime investigations, or workplace testing. Target analytes that may be contained within the samples are listed in this document.
Samples ship in May.
Additional Information: This test is open to laboratories outside of the USA (including D.C., but excluding other territories), but laboratories must determine if there are any restrictions on the import of liquid blood samples of human or animal origin into their country. Participating laboratories are responsible for any additional duties or taxes for the import of biological materials. Shipments not accepted for delivery or refused entry into a country are destroyed, and any disposal costs will be billed to your laboratory.
This test is included on CTS' Scope of Accreditation to ISO/IEC 17043.
