Enrollment Deadline: 15 March 2025

Participants will use their own software and methods to examine staged video evidence and conduct an investigation to answer questions based on a scripted scenario. Examples of skills covered in this test include making a copy of original media to the hard drive of an analysis system, making a working copy of the original media, locating and tracking a subject of interest, and extracting images from video evidence.

Sample Description: A digitally downloadable .zip file containing staged video footage.

Digital test materials are made available in June.

Additional Information: Samples for digital testing, as well as response forms for all test formats, are only available on www.cts-portal.com. The information necessary to access the test materials will be provided via email to the primary contact on file on the day of the test release.

This test is included on CTS' Scope of Accreditation to ISO/IEC 17043.
