Participants will analyze and compare paint trace evidence.

Sample Description: Known and questioned items consisting of either architectural or automotive samples. Samples are different from those used in Test 5452, and the evidence type is alternated yearly between architectural and automotive, allowing participants to receive both types of evidence in one year by ordering both tests, or to stay with the same test year after year and receive both evidence types every two years.

Samples ship in February.

This test is included on CTS' Scope of Accreditation to ISO/IEC 17043.
