This test involves the examination and comparison of toolmarks evidence; a variety of tools and substrates are used. Samples for Test 5282 are different from the samples used in Test 5281; test concepts may or may not be similar.

This test is included on CTS' Scope of Accreditation to ISO/IEC 17043.
