These tests involve the comparison of 8-12 latent prints with four sets of inked known/exemplar prints.

The latent prints may consist of any part of the hand, palms to tips.

The images are the same for all formats, but are not the same as those used in Test 5171/5.

Test 5161 consists of physically printed images.

This test is included on CTS' Scope of Accreditation to ISO/IEC 17043.

Test materials ship in January. All formats are released at the same time and contain the same images; reporting aspects of all formats are also combined.
