Enrollment Deadline: 15 March 2026
Participants will conduct a qualitative analysis of two samples and determine whether a controlled substance is present.
Samples: Two items, each containing either controlled (U.S. Schedule 5 to Schedule 1) or non-controlled substances. One or both samples may be a controlled substance, but this test is limited to synthetic drugs of the following classifications: synthetic cannabinoids, cathinones, tryptamines, phenethylamines, arylcyclohexylamines, benzodiazepine derivatives, nitazenes, or piperazines.
Samples ship in July.
Additional Information: Laboratories in the USA must provide a DEA registration number; enrollment will not be processed without one. Laboratories outside of the USA must provide CTS with a reliable and secure email address for a contact within your laboratory who is not involved in testing to receive a notification of the actual drug to be shipped, quantity to be shipped, and the request for the appropriate paperwork including 1) an original import permit, if required by your country, and 2) an original signed statement from the laboratory indicating that the drug samples will be used for scientific purposes only and will not be re-exported from the country of destination. CTS cannot ship any drug discipline testing without receiving all paperwork by the deadline provided in the permit request email.
This test is included on CTS' Scope of Accreditation to ISO/IEC 17043.
