Enrollment Deadline: 1 November 2025
Participants will conduct a qualitative analysis of three samples and identify any that are positive for marihuana (marijuana/cannabis). Quantitative results for THC concentrations, including uncertainty determinations and any other cannabinoids identified, may also be submitted.
Sample Description: Three items, each containing 500 mg of plant material. Controlled and non-controlled plant materials are used.
Samples ship in June.
Additional Information: Laboratories in the USA must provide a DEA registration number; enrollment will not be processed without one. Laboratories outside of the USA must provide CTS with a reliable and secure email address for a contact within your laboratory who is not involved in testing to receive a notification of the actual drug to be shipped, quantity to be shipped, and the request for the appropriate paperwork including 1) an original import permit, if required by your country, and 2) an original signed statement from the laboratory indicating that the drug samples will be used for scientific purposes only and will not be re-exported from the country of destination. CTS cannot ship any drug discipline testing without receiving all paperwork by the deadline provided in the permit request email. Additionally, laboratories outside of the USA must determine if there are any restrictions on the importation of plant material into their countries and assume responsiblity for any additional import taxes/duties, as well as disposal costs for automatic destruction of shipments not accepted for delivery or refused entry into a country.
This test is included on CTS' Scope of Accreditation to ISO/IEC 17043.
