Participants will test in accordance with ASTM E1331 and ASTM E1347 and report their results as CIE L* a* b* data only. This test also includes the option to report spectrophotometric (reflectance) data at 16 selected wavelengths between 400 and 700 nanometers using one of the opaque color chips.

Sample Description: Two opaque color paint chips, selected from throughout the color spectrum. The two chips consist of a main color and a nonmetameric match with slight color differences.

Samples ship in January, April, July, and October for a total of four shipments, with shipments beginning with the earliest available cycle of testing.

This test is included on CTS' Scope of Accreditation to ISO/IEC 17043.
