Participants will use STR and YSTR DNA electropherograms to evaluate and report the DNA profiles of four items. This test is suitable for professionals who are not actively involved in DNA analysis and may not have access to laboratory equipment or data analysis software.

Sample Description: Digitally downloadable .pdf and .hid files containing electropherograms for two known items and two questioned items. A variety of amplification platforms are included: GlobalFiler™, PowerPlex® Fusion 5C, PowerPlex® Fusion 6C, Investigator® 24plex, YFiler™ Plus and PowerPlex® Y23.

Digital test materials are made available in April.

Additional Information: Digitally downloadable test materials, as well as response forms for all test formats, are only available on www.cts-portal.com. The information necessary to access the test materials will be provided via email to the primary contact on file on the day of the test release.

This test is included on CTS' Scope of Accreditation to ISO/IEC 17043.
