Participants will detect and classify evidence containing ignitable liquid residue, then report results using the ASTM E1618 Ignitable Liquid Classification Scheme.

Sample Description: Sealed nylon evidence bags containing questioned substrate items with an ignitable liquid reside and a comparison blank.

Samples ship in August.

This test is included on CTS' Scope of Accreditation to ISO/IEC 17043.
