Participants will analyze the contents of four vials, collect quantitative data, and report their results.

Sample Description: Four vials, each containing 5 mL of whole blood and varying case-like concentrations of ethanol, including the possibility of a negative sample. The samples for this test are different from the samples for Test 5641.

Samples ship in September.

Additional Information: This test is open to laboratories outside of the USA (including D.C., but excluding other territories), but laboratories must determine if there are any restrictions on the import of liquid blood samples of human or animal origin into their country. Participating laboratories are responsible for any additional duties or taxes for the import of biological materials. Shipments not accepted for delivery or refused entry into a country are destroyed, and any disposal costs will be billed to your laboratory.

This test is included on CTS' Scope of Accreditation to ISO/IEC 17043.
