This test involves the detection and classification of evidence containing ignitable liquid residue. Samples for this test are contained within nylon bags and a substrate comparison blank is provided. Participants are requested to report results using the ASTM E 1618 Ignitable Liquid Classification Scheme.

This test is included on CTS' Scope of Accreditation to ISO/IEC 17043.

Samples ship in August.
