Enrollment Deadline: 1 March 2026

Participants will report data for a 10 kgf test load. Testing is conducted in accordance with ASTM E92 or ISO 6507-1.

Sample Description: Two steel test blocks with slightly different hardness values. Each block is pre-tested for homogeneity. Sample preparation is not required, but labs may prepare the pretested surface of each block as necessary according to their procedures to ensure suitability for testing.

Samples ship in May and November for a total of two shipments.

This test is included on CTS' Scope of Accreditation to ISO/IEC 17043.
