Enrollment Deadline: 24 July 2025

Participants will report any or all of the following properties: tensile strength, yield strength, elongation, r-value, and n-value. Testing is conducted in accordance with ASTM E8, ASTM E517, and ASTM E646.

Sample Description: Two flat steel pieces of different thicknesses ranging from 12–18 gage (~1–2.5 mm). Examples of typical materials include AISI 4130 and AISI 1010 steels.

Samples ship in November for a total of one shipment.

Additional Information: Machining capability to prepare the samples for testing is required; refer to ASTM E8 for the specimen diagram.
