Enrollment Deadline: 1 June 2025

Participants will report any or all of the following properties: tensile strength, yield strength, elongation, and reduction of area. Testing is conducted in accordance with ASTM E8.

Sample Description: Two 7" long bars. One bar has a 1" diameter, and the other has a 1.25" diameter. Examples of typical materials include AISI 1018, AISI 1045, and AISI 4340 steels.

Samples ship in August for a total of one shipment.

Additional Information: Machining capability to prepare the samples for testing is required; refer to ASTM E8 for the specimen diagram.
